Ceftizoxime loaded ZnO/l-cysteine based an advanced nanocarrier drug for growth inhibition of Salmonella typhimurium

Abstract l -Cysteine coated zinc oxide (ZnO) nano hollow spheres were prepared as a potent drug delivery agent to eradicate Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium ( S. typhimurium ). The ZnO synthesized by following the environmentally-friendly trisodium citrate assisted method and -cysteine (L-Cys) conjugate with its surface. ZnO/L-Cys@CFX nanocarrier has been fabricated incorporating ceftizoxime L-Cys characterized using different techniques such scanning electron microscope (SEM), attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) etc. Furthermore, drug-loading encapsulation efficiency at pH levels was measured UV–vis spectrometer optimized. A control gradual manner of pH-sensitive release profile found after investigating CFX from carrier drug. antibacterial activity evaluated through agar disc diffusion broth dilution method, which indicate properties antibiotics enhance conjugating. Surprisingly, exhibits minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) 5 µg/ml against is lower than (20 µg/ml) itself. These results can reduce amount dosed .
